Discover the charm of our self-catering cottage in the heart of southern France in the Cévennes.

We set out with the idea of creating our nest in a quiet, sunny spot, surrounded by nature and capable of welcoming our guests.

We wanted a place where everyone could find their own quiet space to recharge their batteries, cool off in the shade of the olive trees, swim while contemplating the horizon or discover our new orchard.

After 3 years' work, we're opening our gîte to nature lovers in 2024!

The Mas des Esparots is located in a secluded hamlet on a private 6500m² site bordered by forests. Self-contained gîte for 4 people (+ possible baby bed) located on the upper level of the mas with independent access.

-Ground floor (easy access)

-Living room with lounge and dining area

-Equipped kitchen

-1 air-conditioned bedroom with 2 single beds, shower room and toilet

-1 air-conditioned bedroom with 1 double bed, shower room and separate toilet

-Equipped terrace with BBQ

-Private garden and parking

-Swimming pool 10m x 5m, 1.35 m deep (open May-September, shared with owners)

-Wifi

-External access independent from the rest of the Mas

-Parking next to gîte entrance

Mean season 5/07 to 30/08 (arrival and departure on Saturdays)

Mid season from 26/04 to 05/07 and from 30/08 to 19/09 (arrival and departure on Saturday)

Low season from 22/03 to 26/04/2024 and from 19/09 to 25/10/2025 (arrival and departure on Saturday)

Would you like to visit the Cévennes? Wedged between Lozère, Gard and Ardéche, in the south of the Massif Central, the Cévennes massif unfurls its barren landscapes of garrigue, limestone plateaus and thick forests dotted with stone houses across an immense, unspoilt territory. Welcome to the heart of France's largest nature reserve (after French Guiana)! With their diverse landscapes, Mediterranean climate and dizzying peaks (some peaks reach over 1500 m in altitude), the Cévennes offer a wide range of activities.

Our gite is located to the east of the massif, in the lower Cévennes (300m altitude).

Enjoying a Mediterranean climate, the summer season is long and beautiful, between mountains, forests and rivers. The sea is just 100 km away... so all you have to do is make your choice!
